1. What this covers
This policy covers subscriptions to Shopdrop, the software you use to run your store. It is the money you pay us.
It does not cover anything you bought from a store built on Shopdrop. Those sales are between you and that seller, under their own refund policy. We never take that money and cannot refund it. Contact the store directly, or see our contact page if the store will not respond.
2. How billing works
- All plans are priced in US dollars, worldwide.
- Tax is added on top of the listed price where it applies to you, and is shown before you confirm. The price on our pricing page is what we receive.
- Monthly plans renew every month. Annual plans renew every twelve months and cost about 20 percent less per month.
- Renewal is automatic until you cancel.
- Paddle.com Market Ltd is our reseller and the merchant of record. They handle the payment, the tax and the receipt, so their name is what appears on your card statement.
3. Free plan and free months
The Free plan is permanently free. It is not a trial, it does not expire, and it never asks for a card.
Starter comes with three months free when you start it. A card is required so the subscription can continue afterwards, and nothing is charged during those three months. Cancel any time inside the free period and you are charged nothing at all. The three free months are available once per store.
Growth and Pro do not include a free period.
4. Refunds
First payment: 14 days
If you are unhappy with Shopdrop, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we will refund it in full. You do not have to justify it.
Renewals
Renewal payments are not automatically refundable, because you can cancel at any point before a renewal and the date is shown in your billing settings. That said, if a renewal took you by surprise and you have not used the new period, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will almost always refund it.
Plan changes
Upgrading takes effect immediately and you are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the period. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, so there is nothing to refund and you keep the higher plan until then.
What we will not refund
- Periods you have already used, beyond the windows above.
- Accounts we closed for breaking our Terms of Service.
- Charges older than 90 days, which we can no longer reverse at the payment provider.
5. Cancelling
Cancel yourself in the merchant portal under Settings, then Plan and billing. No email, no phone call, no retention queue.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- You keep every paid feature until that date.
- After that your store moves to the Free plan and stays online. We do not switch off a working shop because you stopped subscribing.
- Anything above the Free plan limits is paused rather than deleted. Products beyond the Free limit stay in your account and are hidden from the storefront, a custom domain stops serving but the setup is kept, and a premium theme reverts to a free one with your settings preserved. Resubscribe and it all returns.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal fails we retry over the following weeks and email you each time. Your store keeps working for a 30-day grace period. Update your card inside that window and nothing is interrupted.
If the 30 days pass with no successful payment, the storefront goes offline and your data is retained. Paying restores it immediately.
7. Your store and your data
Cancelling does not delete anything. Your products, orders, customers and content stay in your account for as long as it exists, and you can export them.
If you want your account and its data erased, ask us and we will do it. That is irreversible, and it is separate from cancelling a subscription. See the Privacy Policy for retention periods.
8. How to ask
Email info@shopdrop.pro from the address on the account, and tell us your store name and roughly what went wrong. We answer within one business day.
Because Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record, you can also raise a refund through the link on your receipt from them. Either route reaches the same place. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and usually appear within three to five working days once approved.
