Shoppers pay you, never Shopdrop. Checkout offers the payment methods you turn on: cash on delivery, bank transfer and up to five methods of your own. The money goes from your customer to you, and Shopdrop takes no commission on any plan.
Only the store owner can change how the store gets paid.
Your products, orders and customers belong to you. Download your orders, customers and newsletter subscribers as CSV files whenever you like. We do not sell personal information, yours or your shoppers’.
If you close your account, you have 90 days to sign back in and reopen it. After that we erase your account and stores for good, with every photo and file in them. We keep only the invoices and tax records the law requires.
Your store’s database is in Frankfurt, Germany. Our application servers run in Germany too, and photos and files are served from Cloudflare’s global network so pages load quickly wherever your shoppers are.
Every page, store and connection uses HTTPS. A plain HTTP address redirects to it, and browsers are told to use nothing else. We encrypt data in transit and at rest, and store passwords only as one-way hashes.
We back up the database every day and keep each backup for seven days. Each store’s data is kept apart, because every request is checked against the store of the person signed in.
Store fonts load from our own servers, so your shoppers’ browsers never contact Google Fonts. Our service providers page names every company that handles personal information for us.
Sign in with Google, or with your email and a password. Sign-in slows down after repeated wrong passwords, so nobody can guess a password by brute force. Changing or resetting your password signs your account out everywhere else.
